Anniversary of Heath Ledger's passing.

It saddens me to know that he died of an overdose or a proscribed medicine. But it sickens me to know that a lot of people went to see the Dark Knight just to see if he was any good in the movie or not.

I remember opening weekend for the Dark Knight, I chose not to go on that weekend because I knew what was in store for me if I had to wait in line. The day after opening night I was proven right, there was a local and a non local news cast that took place at different cinemas and random people were asked "why are you here to see this movie?", and the majority of the answers that I heard were "just to see if Ledger was any good..."

Do people really care that little that he passed away that the only reason they show up to a movie is to see if he met their expectations? I know I took my time before I saw the movie, a death comes before entertainment in my opinion. I mean when someone so young looses their life shouldn't you take a second and understand why it happened?

But that's just my two cents on the topic. What are you're thoughts on this? Feel free to leave a comment I would like to know what you think.

Vermont judge tosses inmate's claim prison chicken was too foul to eat.

Well i guess the moral of the story is.... do crime and eat raw chicken?

Its kind of sad that something like that could go unnoticed, even if it did happen in a prison. Just because they are in prison doesn't mean they aren't real people, they still need food that's you know... eatable...

Personally I'm sickened that stuff like this even happens when it comes to food. Its not like this is the first time it happened too, I've personally witnesses a case where a snickers bar had maggots in crawling in it and it was completely sealed when it was purchased.

Keep an eye out before you bite into something I guess, I know I try to.

Thanks for reading, feel free to comments anything.

Pekoppa toy.

Have you ever been put down at work or your home? Ever feel like no one cares about what you have to say? Well no more! Now you can have your very own potted plant that will listen to everything you have to say and nod in agreement to you.

Sounds crazy doesn't it? To some maybe to others no. If you live in Japan you can get one of these little plants for roughly $26 USD.

You know when I first read this I though "wow what a stupid and useless thing to have". But after leaving this post over a day I had time to think about it. Yes it is still kinda crazy to me, thinking about talking to a plant, but if you think about it from some ones elses perspective you begin to realize something. Just because its crazy to me doesn't mean its going to be crazy to everyone, people have FAR worse jobs then what I do and much worse home lives. Maybe they have an aggressive family where they get put down all day long for not doing anything right. This could really be an outlet for alot of people, a little green happy plant that wont die (its made of metal that responds to sound stimulus) that you don't have to take care of or even ensure that it stays happy. It will always be there for them and will always 'nod'.

To be honest I wouldn't have engineered something like this in a million years but I'm glad that there is a company out there thats thinking of people that don't have the best of lives.

So I'm still perusing a career in Mechanical Engineering at Conestoga College and I love it. For once I feel like I'm doing something that will actually be useful in the future. Not counting now though since the economy is so messed and all the engineering positions are moving out of the country, who knows maybe I'll be able to move to another country after I'm done my education. Always wanted to go to London, England seems like a great place to live and possibly work... But for the mean time I'm going to keep to the grind and continue my education and looking for jobs for my Coop terms.

It's also great to get away from learning and working and go on vacations, and that is exactly what I did over the Christmas break! I went to Cuba for an 8 night stay at a new resort called Hotel la Salinas, I might post some pictures of that place later on since it was so beautiful there. I'll tell you this, spending Christmas laying on the beach and staring off into the ocean with a drink in your hand is a great feeling that I wouldn't give up for the world. Don't get me wrong I love snow but only to a certain point if you know what I mean... shoveling snow early in the morning kinda changes your views on snow haha.

Its so surprising that such a poor country can be so beautiful, and the culture there took me by a surprise. Everybody greats everyone with a handshake, and kisses on a cheek for the women, which is mind blowing compared to what I'm used to. The only time I see people that nice to each other here in Canada is if they are sales people to tell you the truth. Hopefully I'm not making Canada sound horrible, its not I love it here, but its just a different sight compared to what I'm used to seeing on a daily basis.

I don't want to go into to much detail about the trip so I don't end up boring any readers... readers that I probably don't even have but the ones that I do I don't want to bore haha.

I'll also be starting to do news chats on stuff I find interesting at the time, these may happened a couple days a week, maybe once a week or maybe daily. I don't quite know yet, it really depends on my efforts haha, eventually I hope to do the news stuff on a daily baisis and try to have fun with it.

Thanks for reading.
