Well Christmas has passed and we are on the New Years Eve.

For me Christmas was fun, I didn't go out or anything but instead I did the whole family thing. I got a few nice things from my parents, since I already have everything I want I got the usual presents, cloths, and I'm very happy with them.

In the days that have lead to today, New Years Eve, which is bigger then Christmas for my family I managed to play a lot of World of Warcraft, and go to an Opera type deal. I'm not a big fan of the Opera but i gotta say Salute to Vienna was very good and for once I didn't feel like falling asleep half way.

I don't know what I'll do on New Years Eve but I know where I'll be, I'll be home spending it with the family.

So its the day before Christmas, have you finished all your gift shopping? or are you the type of person that waits till 6am on the day of to get the gifts?

Well either way its Christmas, a day for giving and receiving, a day to spend time with that family, to relax and forget about your troubles.

Because of this I thought I would post a more festive news post today :) maybe help you with last minute wrapping or give you some great ideas for next year.

I've been thinking, since this is my blog I might as well use it to show off some of my capabilities with AutoCAD.

By the way AutoCAD isn't the only program I know how to use, I also know Inventor 10 and SolidWorks.

My birthday wasn't too long ago and I was fortunate enough to obtain a new phone, w00tz!


I got the Sony Ericsson W580i, its a great phone for the new age with many features that can warm up to everyone. From my research I found out that it is an alternative to the iphone which to tell you the truth i don't really like, but I have never used it so i can't judge.

• The reception is great on this phone, unlike the bell phone that I had before.
• It is able to play music, with great sound for a cell phone. (I was really amazed at the clarity of the sound)
• Text messaging is very comfortable on this phone and the T9 makes it a lot easier and carefree.
• It has a 2.0 megapixel camera that can also take films. (the only down side is that there is no flash but the night mode on the camera cancels it out nicely)
• Right now it comes with an 8 gb memory card for free.
• It has a radio, AM/FM.
• And who can forget the lights on the phone.
• the lights can be all changed, there is different combinations you can use to customize the phone for you.

• and much more...

All together I am VERY happy with the phone and I appreciate my good friends that were nice enough to get it for me.

This phone goes for 99$ at the moment so it was a great surprise to me that my friends pitched in to get it for my birthday :)

Its been a while since I last posted here, but I don't think that really matters since I had better things to do (ie. college).

But recently I was reading up on some news and I came across this sickening news report.

A child abuser who not only abused his children for personal sexual pleasure but also distributed the images live of a web cam! What was the punishment you may ask? Only 4 years in prison ... doesn't sound nearly enough to me. I was angered when I read this because it truly seems that the Canadian government doesn't recognize the damage that has been done here. There was over 3,000 pictures found on his computer, of him sexually abusing little girls and all he gets is 4 years!? If you ask me he should have gotten life in prison with no chance for parole. People like him should not be able to walk away so easily from this.
Being a proud Canadian citizen I am disgusted at the turn out of this. But, this being the first of its type of charge in Canada, I am willing to be a little forgiving at the ruling. I may not be happy with it, but the Canadian government hasn't had to deal with a problem like this before and may not have known how to handle it properly which can be seen on the second page of the report.

But thats enough of me complaining about this, I'll let you make up your own mind.

Hey, haven't posted here in a while... I made this early in the morning before my breakfast and on about 4 hours of sleep so take it easy if you think it sucks... cuz i do, there is just so much more i could have done with it, but maybe i'll come back to it some time later... although i usualy never redo my work unless some text needs to be changed but who knows, the future isn't written in stone after all :p, that and i have all this free time on my hands at the time...
